Weekly Photo Challenge: Close

Lake Moore, The Laurentians, Quebec ©K.A.P

Getting close to nature in one of my favorite places on earth: The Laurentians.

It’s the perfect place to stop,  admire the beauty and release any stress or worry.

  1. Beautiful picture. Not so close but your spirit in closeness to the nature, i like it. My entry this time is about nature too.

    • Thank you! Well I was standing at the edge of the lake and did you see that platform in the middle of it?

Can you guess what I did? Yes, I swam right up to it! How about that for being close to nature ;)

I am always up for a challenge and that was just calling my name.

There is no better therapy than just contemplating and thanking the universe for such beautiful creations.

Everything in nature is in perfect harmony!

Is your link on the post a day page? I will look into it.

      Kay :)

Really lovely, travellersoul76. I can see you’re a travel lover like myself, so if you’re interested, I run a weekly travel theme and would love you to join in. This week’s theme is Secret Places: xxx Ailsa http://wheresmybackpack.com/2012/06/15/secret-places/

    • Thank you so much fellow traveler!

I just saw your site and love the idea. That’s just awesome! It comes at the perfect time since Tuesdays are #TT or #TravelTuesday on Twitter.

I was in New York City a month ago and I would have never thought there were secret things right under my feet (besides the subway) ha ha

Might have to do some brainstorming and go back down memory lane. I am sure I will find a travel secret place!

      Kay :)

i agree! So much calm can be brought to the heart by enjoying nature and breathing in the vistas. I am nutso about reflections. This is gorgeous (and calming).

    • That’s right. Nature is the best healer and just basking in all its glory is incredible.

Yes, I’ve also come to love reflections and it just stands out!

Thank you so much for stopping by ;)

  4. Just exquisite! What a lovely, peaceful image!
