I believe it is no secret that I am an avid reader, a certified bookworm, a lover of books yes, I proudly admit it
I read every single day, it keeps my mind active and since I am an educator, I am always looking for inspiration and share my discoveries with you all!
As you know I receive daily many messages my readers from all over the world asking me for advice related to travel, blogging or emails of personal nature. They simply share with me whatever is going through in their life at the moment.
I am flattered and honored that they consider me as a person they can confide in and who can see the situation from a different angle, offer possible solutions, give them words of encouragement or perhaps inspire them. By no means am I an expert but I can assure you that I’ve seen and experienced difficulties in all colors of the rainbow! Did I pass and overcame those obstacles!
Now I may not exteriorize it or share it publicly like some people do on some social sites (ahem, FB is where people let it go). I simply take some time off to reflect, look up and send out a prayer. Deep inside I know that there are trial times and things will just work out. A healthy and extra dose of patience is required in the meantime.
Now just recently I came across this great poem by Christian D. Larson, a Norwegian writer & thought leader which left me speechless and quite motivated. I thought it was just the right answer and the right words to relay to those people who reached out to me. He couldn’t have said it any better!
Read it and let me know what you think. Hopefully you will love it as much as I did and refer to it when you need an energy boost or when your batteries need to be recharged.
The Optimist Creed
To be so strong that nothing can disturb your peace of mind.
To talk health, happiness, and prosperity to every person you meet.
To make all your friends feel that there is something worthwhile in them.
To look at the sunny side of everything and make your optimism come true.
To think only of the best, to work only for the best and to expect only the best.
To be just as enthusiastic about the success of others as you are about your own.
To forget the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater achievements of the future.
To wear a cheerful expression at all times and give a smile to every living creature you meet.
To give so much time to improving yourself that you have no time to criticize others.
To be too large for worry, too noble for anger, too strong for fear, and too happy to permit the presence of trouble.
To think well of yourself and to proclaim this fact to the world, not in loud word, but in great deeds.
To live in the faith that the whole world is on your side, so long as you are true to the best that is in you.
If you enjoyed it I invite you to share the following image with your followers!
Until next time!
All the best
