Hi Karla, hope you’re well and having adventures! This is my favorite ever travel quote:
“Why do you go away? So that you can come back. So that you can see the place you came from with new eyes and extra colors. And the people there see you differently, too. Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving.”
It’s from A Hat Full of Sky by Terry Pratchett. 🙂
Happy new year!
How are you gorgeous! Long time no talk!
Yes things are great thank you, how about you?
Wow, that is an awesome quote. It’s the 1st time I’ve ever seen it but love it. Very true!
You need to go out and explore, only to come back home and appreciate everything that we’ve got right?
Have an awesome 2014 and hope we keep in touch.
Happy New Year to you & your family 🙂
I love this one: “Though we travel the world over to find the beautiful, we must carry it with us, or we find it not.” ― Ralph Waldo Emerson
Some people may travel to escape reality or whatever but what we carry is with us whether at home or away… Great piece!
I had not seen that one before but it sure is awesome.

This is the one that stuck with me most Travel opens your mind as few other things do. It is its own form of hypnotism, and I am forever under its spell. Probably the only spell that I would like to have on myself for all the time!
Travel sure does something magical to our entire being right?
Not only it is necessary to take time to go out and explore, it helps us grow in so many ways.
I appreciate the time you took to stop by 🙂
All are great but for me the best is “See the world it’s more fantastic than any dream”. Well said.
It is an excellent quote indeed 🙂
Thank you for this, Karla. Sometimes, all we need is a couple of inspirational quotes in order to help us be motivated.
I’m glad you liked them Agness!
Yes, they are that extra kick we sometimes need to get back on track 🙂
