TEFL – No Degree, No Problem

Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today.

Teaching English as a Foreign Language as a job has grown so much in popularity over the past number of years and seriously, what is not to love about passing on a life skill to children and adults who are learning the language?

There are so many things to love about it, for starters you can become qualified in a pretty short space of time and then teach either online or as you travel the world! The work is super flexible and in most cases you can fit the work around your lifestyle.

So what’s the catch? Well, you definitely need to hold a TEFL certificate. Some employers will prefer that you hold a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline but fear not if you haven’t got one, emphasis here on the word prefer.

Hear me when I say that you DO NOT need a degree to teach. In the following map, you will see the Top 10 Countries with the highest average monthly salary that does not require a TEFL degree.

Is traveling the world a dream of yours?

Well teaching and traveling are a match made in heaven.

What’s more, it is a well trodden path and you will meet so many other teachers and like minded types doing exactly the same thing.

Can you picture yourself teaching in Buenos Aires, Rome or in Asia?

Think of how amazing it would be!

Have you ever thought of teaching abroad?

Do know some people who have?

Until next time!
