We are going through exceptional circumstances and there are times when we need an extra boost of energy, a dose of inspiration and take time for self-care, self-love and fill one’s cup.
As a fan of Inspirational Quotes, I love to look and find content that really resonates with me and frankly, leaves me saying Wow.
Recently I came across The Optimist Creed by Christian D. Larson, a Norwegian writer & thought leader which was like a breath of fresh air left me speechless and quite inspired.
These lines are just the right answer and the right words to relay to those people who are feeling anxious, have low batteries or simply need a sign and know that things may be difficult for everyone but there are better days coming ahead even if we don’t see it or believe it at the moment,
In The Optimist Creed, Larson hits the nail right on the head and he couldn’t have said it any better!
Read it and let me know what you think. Hopefully you will love it as much as I did and refer to it when you need an energy boost or when your batteries need to be recharged.
The Optimist Creed
To be so strong that nothing can disturb your peace of mind.
To talk health, happiness, and prosperity to every person you meet.
To make all your friends feel that there is something worthwhile in them.
To look at the sunny side of everything and make your optimism come true.
To think only of the best, to work only for the best and to expect only the best.
To be just as enthusiastic about the success of others as you are about your own.
To forget the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater achievements of the future.
To wear a cheerful expression at all times and give a smile to every living creature you meet.
To give so much time to improving yourself that you have no time to criticize others.
To be too large for worry, too noble for anger, too strong for fear, and too happy to permit the presence of trouble.
To think well of yourself and to proclaim this fact to the world, not in loud word, but in great deeds.
To live in the faith that the whole world is on your side, so long as you are true to the best that is in you.
Hope you enjoyed reading The Optimist Creed.
What or who inspires you?
How has this situation changed your life?
Are you hopeful for the future?
This great pause or necessary break was much needed and we need to come out stronger and better persons than before!
We must also remember that we’re only guests and our time here on the planet is limited, so we must be wiser and use it to the maximum.
We will never take things for granted and have to create a legacy for future generations.
Until next time!
All the best
