1-Mont-Royal

A visit to Montreal would never be complete without a visit to this haven in the middle of the city.

There are many ways to reach the top of the mountain, if you feel like having a good workout! You can walk, take the bus or drive. I promise that it is well worth it.

Once you arrive at the top, you are rewarded with this view. Isn’t it amazing?

2-Old Montreal

You will be transported back in time and feel as if you’re in Europe with its cobblestone streets and horse-drawn carriages.

The buildings are so beautiful and rich in history.

Wander through St-Paul, De La Commune, St-Jacques, Ste-Antoine streets among others 🙂

3-Chinatown

Chinatown is only a few minutes away from Old Montreal. It is not as big as any other Canadian cities like Toronto and Vancouver but it brings that Asian vibe to a multi-cultural & dynamic city.

Go window shopping, have a nice bubble tea, go people watching or have a delicious & inexpensive meal in the many restaurants (Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean 😉

4-Plateau Mont-Royal

Le Plateau is one of the hippest and trendiest neighborhoods in the city.

Avenue du Mont-Royal is the main artery. You will find everything from old & new bookshops, countless restaurants (L’Avenue is one of the best places for brunch), boutiques, bakeries and of course, our favorite meeting spots: coffee shops 🙂

5-Downtown Montreal

The heart of the city is at the corner of Ste-Catherine & Peel streets.

There is also a great network of tunnels which we call ”La ville souterraine or the underground city” which connects the main buildings to shops, restaurants, subway system, buses and suburb trains. It is a refuge in the cold winter months and the hot and humid summer days!

Though walking outside is better to truly appreciate and admire the city’s landmarks.
