Located only a few minutes from downtown, The Toronto islands is a beautiful chain of islands where locals and visitors escape to. 3- Yonge Street and the Downtown core
The longest street in Canada is the heart and soul of the city. A wide variety of shops, restaurants and attractions can be found along this dynamic artery. Start your discovery walk at Queen’s Quay and head up north!
4- Chinatown/Kensington Market
No visit to a city is complete without seeing Chinatown. Toronto’s own is certainly worth it. There is a plethora of restaurants offering Asian delicacies. Shopping is part of the experience of course and there are so many stores where you can get lost in!
Kensington Market is a true-multicultural area in the city. You can buy Jamaican patties in a shop, European cold cuts & cheese at another, have Chilean empanadas or pupusas (El Salvador’s national dish).
It is a shopper’s paradise as well as a great place to hear up & coming artists!
5- Bloor/Yorkville
La crème de la crème of Toronto’s society meets, greets and entertain themselves in this posh neighborhood. 5 star hotels, luxury stores and top restaurants as well as headquarters are located on Bloor Street.
This area really comes alive and the eyes of the world are focused on the star-studded TIFF (Toronto International Film Festival) held every year in September.
