There is nothing more beautiful in life than a sunset.

Located on the Pacific Coast of El Salvador and less than 1 hour away from the capital, Playa El Majahual is one of the most popular beaches that locals and visitors flock to.

Personally, it is one favorite beaches in the world. My family and I have been going there since I was very young. We seem to be drawn like magnets!

What makes it so special? Its spectacular natural surroundings.

I love the warm glittering black sand and listen to the waves gently crash and feel them touching my feet. Going for a stroll along the shore, especially during sunset, is an unforgettable experience.

The day I went was my lucky day because the beach was almost deserted and felt as if I had it to myself!

What I really love is talking to the locals who welcome you with open arms, offer great hospitality and prepare amazing food!

Family restaurants are found on the main road and for a few dollars, you can rent hammocks and your own space for a few hours.

Learning more about the area and listening to some interesting tales about their daily life makes you feel grateful for yours! They sure are hard workers and admirable persons.

Going to the ocean is a must and it is the perfect place to spend a fun day with friends or family.

They say that life is better at the beach and I totally agree. Do you? 😉
