Travel images that capture the world through color
– blue, green, yellow, white and red
I was invited me to take part in TravelSupermarket’s “Capture the Colour” photo contest. Participants have to share five images, showing how they interpret the world through color.
Even though there are prizes involved, the biggest incentive for writing this post was a chance to relive my travel experiences. Here is my photo selection:
Blue
Last spring I stood in wonder before the beautiful Lake in San Salvador, El Salvador. It made me feel so peaceful & alive. The place is magnetic. It’s definitely impressive.
Green
Walking through a coffee plantation in Grecia, Costa Rica was one of the most enriching experiences. It was fascinating to learn the entire process and drink the final product on the spot. It made me appreciate my cup of joe even more 🙂
Yellow
This façade left me speechless. The details are just incredible and the color combination is just beautiful. This is probably one of the most stunning churches I have ever seen during my travels. Antigua Guatemala is gorgeous & charming and I can’t wait to go back!
White
Wandering the streets of Rome. Italy brings back fantastic memories. Finding this amazing monument is one of them! The columns, statues, intricate details on white marble were just perfectly sculpted. It is a masterpiece.
Red
I immediately thought of my country’s flag. How could I not include it? I AM Canadian after all and very proud 🙂
This picture was taken in the 1000 islands Ontario when my family and I went on a cruise. It was a perfect summer day that we will never forget.
There you have some of my favorite images for Capture the color contest!
Now I’m inviting you to do the same!
Have fun!
L♥ve always,
Kay 🙂
