I arrived in Korea 2 weeks ago and I just feel as if I came back home.

Last time I was here was back in 2004 when I stopped over on my way to Hong Kong for my friends Akina & Ernest’s  wedding.

I lived & worked here in 2001-2002 just in time for the world cup. It was the experience of a lifetime! I had to come back.

I did fall in love with my Seoulmate. 😉  Words simply cannot describe what this great city has to offer to both residents & visitors. It is simply vibrant, dynamic, exciting, rich in history, culture, a great melting pot.

I will be here for a year teaching ESL at an Academy.  I am not giving up on translation but I’ll give it a break while I acquire more experience, have fun & learn from the little ones!

Who knows, maybe I will be able to teach in Europe next year? 😉
