As a travel blogger, photographer and educator, I am always on the lookout for new websites, tools, software and applications that will enhance (as well as protect) my pictures or projects and make them stand out from the crowd. After all they say that pictures are worth a thousand words right?
Just recently I discovered Pixiclip, a very cool online interactive whiteboard which allows you to unleash your creative side and have lots of fun while doing so 🙂
I decided to put it to the test, so let me show you how it works!
What can you do?
There are so many possibilities!
But first things first.
Before you start playing around with it and become familiar, I highly recommend creating an account which is really easy.
You can sign up with your email account or with Facebook, that way your ideas, doodles, drafts or pixiclips will be saved in one place.
Then you basically start out with a blank canvas and all you have to do is to let your imagination flow!
Create a Pixiclip
You have the following options, you can:
Draw sketches by picking any color and combine them with others.
I pretended I was a kid all over again and drew what came to mind first 🙂
Add an image to the new Pixiclip by uploading a photo.
To do this, follow these steps:
1- Select a photo from your computer and click upload image or
2- Locate and select the desired image, drag & drop it to the box and upload it.
Add text by selecting a pencil, marker or simply type
As you know, I love quotes, so I added one. It describes how I felt when I captured the beauty of the scenery!
You can also add media such as a
– voice recording or
– record a short video (maximum recording time is 4 minutes)
Once you are satisfied with the final result you can
1- Save it
2- Make it private or visible to the public
3- Share with family and friends on social media!
What a great and original way to add a personal touch to your creations!
I will definitely use it to send a friend or family member a fun and unforgettable birthday card (which is better than a traditional paper card or ecard). Best of all? It’s totally FREE and unlimited!
