Mother nature knows the perfect time…for a change! It is good and necessary 😉
Each and every season is special. We live many experiences and unforgettable memories are created.
Aren’t we lucky we are to have 4 seasons!
Let me share with you some of my favorite images that represent them all.
This is my entry in Booked.net‘s “Capture the Season”
I realize it is autumn/fall when…
Days become shorter, weather gets colder, leaves change colors and fall down.
There is nothing like hiking a mountain. Admiring the amazing and colorful foliage from the top is unbelievable!
My favorite place is The Laurentians, about an hour and a half north of Montreal. This is where I took this pic!
I realize it is winter when…
The first snow fall is truly beautiful.
A thick white blanket covers trees and everything in sight. Everything seems so peaceful and serene.
It feels awesome to pick up some of the snow and let it melt in your hands!
This picture was taken in Toronto on my way back to my apartment building where I lived for 2 years 😉
I realize it is spring when…
The long harsh and very cold winter days are replaced by sunny, warmer days.
Tree buds finally open, flowers bloom and the sight is just spectacular!
I had the chance to be in Seoul and see gorgeous cherry trees line up the streets. You can smell them, they are ”scent”ational 😉
However, my best discovery was this Magnolia tree in Yeouido, only a few steps away from Yunjungno (a very famous place where you can walk under cherry trees in the spring).
I realize it is summer when…
Days are bright, sunny and sometimes pretty humid (not to say unbearable).
The best way to beat the summer heat is to spend a fantastic day with friends, family at the lake.
That is what ”la belle saison (the beautiful season)” is all about!
The best things in life that are absolutely free 😉
So there you have my best memories throughout the seasons.
Thank you Aaron from elatlboy for including me.
I hope you enjoyed it.
‘Til next time!
L♥ve always,
Kay
Fall is my favorite season, but I am loving your Spring picture. I want to travel to Asia so badly!
Thank you for your comment! Yes spring in Asia is super. You have to see cherry trees either in Korea or Japan….lovely 😉
Love the Fall leave shot! We’ll be seeing all the leaf colors soon. 🙂
Thank you! I so can’t wait. I miss going to the mountains. The view is out of this world! I also want to go to the Adirondacks & New England 😉
Pictuing New England and Boston in Fall right now. I need to get there stat haha! 🙂
I imagine how gorgeous it will be! If you do plan a visit, let me know. Maybe I can meet you there 😉
I’ve had so much fun looking through your blog that I nominated you for the One Lovely Blog Award. Check out Girl and Her Pink Backpack for the rules and pass it on.
And thanks again your advice on teaching overseas- I had an interview last week and am now working with a recruiter. Hopefully, I can get all my paper work in on time!
Thank you so much! That is so sweet 😉
So happy to hear that my advice has helped you! Feels great. If you have any questions, feel free to email me and I will do my best to answer.
I’m sure you will be sent to a great school and you will have a great time there. It’s life changing 😉
All the best
Kay 😉
