When it comes to dining, there are so many options in and around Charlotte Harbor and the Gulf Islands in Southwest Florida.

Farlow’s on the Water
Farlow’s on the water serves Caribbean inspired dishes with a southern twist. Food is fresh tasty and the view is awesome!

The Fishery Restaurant
At first glance you probably think it’s is a regular family restaurant where, as the name clearly states, seafood is the specialty.
Well looks can be deceiving. The interior is filled with sea inspired arts and crafts created by the owners and artists Gary and Margaret Albritton. They even have their own gallery!
I was pleasantly surprised to hear that I could go walk outside and admire Gasparilla Sound.
Of course, being adventurous and restless, I grabbed my camera and made my way out 😉 Nothing prepared me for what I was about to experience!
That little escapade left me quite hungry and thirsty. So I quickly made my way back to join the group. What better way to start than having with one of these

A burger in a seafood restaurant? Yes, you read that right. A basic burger was seen at the table and I’m the one who had it since I’m allergic to seafood 😦
Now as you know, a meal is not complete without dessert!
Again as THE dessert in Florida is Key Lime Pie, we simply could not say no and left a little space for it!
