When it comes to dining, there are so many options in and around Charlotte Harbor and the Gulf Islands in Southwest Florida.
Come by boat or car, whatever is more convenient for you. A great majority of restaurants offer great views and will definitely tantalize your taste buds!
Here are 2 recommendations of well-known and loved establishments by locals and visitors alike.
Allow me to feed your senses with the following images 🙂
Just a warning, you will probably be very hungry and thirsty after seeing all the food and drinks!
Waterfront Dining Options in Charlotte Harbor, Florida
Farlow’s on the Water
Farlow’s on the water serves Caribbean inspired dishes with a southern twist. Food is fresh tasty and the view is awesome!
There is no better way to start than ordering delicious cold drink to quench your thirst.
Main course options:
If you still have some room left for dessert, then you definitely need to try the famous Key Lime Ice Cream Pie. It is delicious!

The Fishery Restaurant
At first glance you probably think it’s is a regular family restaurant where, as the name clearly states, seafood is the specialty.
Well looks can be deceiving. The interior is filled with sea inspired arts and crafts created by the owners and artists Gary and Margaret Albritton. They even have their own gallery!
I was pleasantly surprised to hear that I could go walk outside and admire Gasparilla Sound.
Of course, being adventurous and restless, I grabbed my camera and made my way out 😉 Nothing prepared me for what I was about to experience!
That little escapade left me quite hungry and thirsty. So I quickly made my way back to join the group. What better way to start than having with one of these
Main course options
A burger in a seafood restaurant? Yes, you read that right. A basic burger was seen at the table and I’m the one who had it since I’m allergic to seafood 😦
Now as you know, a meal is not complete without dessert!
Again as THE dessert in Florida is Key Lime Pie, we simply could not say no and left a little space for it!

Tell me, which meal would you like to try? 😉
What’s the best waterfront restaurant you’ve been to?
I’d love to hear from you!
Many thanks to Farlows On the Water and The Fishery Restaurant for welcoming us, to Charlotte Harbor Visitor & Convention Bureau and Above Water PR for coordinating these visits.
The honest opinions & photos I share are my own and always will be.

I love waterfront dining, always a good experience. I would go for the sweet potato dish right now!
Doesn’t it look great?
It was delicious and that Sangria was quite something 😉
This post simply made me hungry 😀
I almost drooled while I looked at the pics as well 😉
