TBEX Canada: Where the travel world will meet

I’m super excited because in just a few days I will be attending my 1st travel conference: TBEX (Travel Blog Exchange) which will be held on June 1st and 2nd right here at home in Canada and in a city I love: Toronto!

Toronto, Toronto Skyline, Ontario, Canada,

What am I looking forward to?

Meetings

I can’t wait to meet a group of fellow bloggers I have been chatting with over the past weeks and months as well as new people who love to travel!

Most importantly, we’re all going there to learn as much as we can from all the amazing speakers that will share their valuable knowledge and expertise! That alone is well worth the trip to the Queen City.

Pre-TBEX trips

I will kick off my Canadian road trip on May 29th as I travel from Montreal to Toronto.

Then onward to Niagara Falls.

Next is Niagara-On-The-Lake to sample some local wine. Yes, I know it’s a tough job right? Someone has to do it 🙂

Back in T.O

Since I lived & worked in Toronto for two years, I know it pretty well. So I offered some blogger friends (who have never visited the city) to be their personal tour guide.

They will be able to choose between from the Top 5 places to visit in T.O and my suggestions found in 48 hours in Toronto Part 1 & Part 2.

I am afraid of wearing them out since there is so much to see and do but so little time!

Entertainment

The conference will be quite intense during the week-end, so we will try to relax and unwind at a lovely café, eat a nice meal at a great restaurant and definitely celebrate with drinks at a great rooftop bar like the one at Thompson Toronto.

Main Objective

Time has finally come for me to move forward and upward with my blog. What initially started as diary for my family and friends (while I was living and working in South Korea) has now become a site viewed in over 100 countries!

None of this would be possible without you! So THANK YOU, MERCI, GRACIAS for your continuous support!

It makes me very happy that you read my travel tales and like my photography.

I’m really eager to learn how to become a better writer and photographer so that I can keep you interested, amused and entertained while taking you along on my adventures around the world.

I also look forward to meeting the movers and shakers of the travel industry and let them know that I can help promote their destinations in a few languages and take great photos of course!

A Tourism Bureau from Europe has contacted me and will meet them in person, so I feel quite blessed to have been selected. More news to come.

Post-TBEX

After the conference, a group of bloggers and I will go to Prince Edward County, to visit some wineries in the area (see the training in Niagara-On-The-Lake will be useful 😉

We will then tour the city Kingston which is the gateway to the 1000 islands.

And what better way to end the trip than going on a sunset cruise aboard the Island Star.

As you can see, the coming days and weeks before, during and after TBEX will be action packed.

It promises indeed to be one great adventure after another!

Are you ready to come along for the ride? 🙂

    • Ah you did? So cool! I’ve only stopped over on my way to Toronto or back to Montreal so that doesn’t really count right?
