Bongeunsa Temple near World Trade Center & Coex in Gangnam, Seoul

There are many Buddhist temples in Seoul.  Bongeunsa is one of them and in my opinion, one of the most beautiful 😉

This large statue welcomes worshipers from around the city and the country!

What I love about this photo is seeing the old vs new, ancient vs modern. The temple has withstood difficult times and modernization.

In the background you can see The World Trade Center Seoul as well as the largest underground shopping center in Asia, the Coex Mall.

It is an urban oasis and the perfect place to recharge batteries!
