Weekly Photo Challenge: Nostalgic

If I asked you to close your eyes and describe a place that you have loved going to since you were a child, what comes to mind first?

In my case it would be Le Belvédère Kondiaronk (scenic lookout) right here in my hometown, Montreal.

montreal, quebec, Canada, travel, mt-royal, Belvédère Kondiaronk, Kondiaronk Scenic Lookout, view, explore canada

Unforgettable view

Just looking at it makes me nostalgic. My parents used to bring my siblings and I there on week-ends and we had quality family time. Ah, the good old days!

In the past few years, I have taken my guests (visiting from abroad) and wanted them to remember this breathtaking view of my city. It is definitely one of a kind.

No matter where on earth I may find myself in, I always remember this very special place and definitely know where home is 😉

Do you have a picture that makes you NOSTALGIC?

Please share it with us by creating a post or leaving a link in the comments!

P.S: By the way I edited my photo with www.picmonkey.com, used Lomo as a filter to give it that vintage look!

Let me know what you think 🙂

  1. I love that view. The telescope / binoculars in the front really give a nice perspective. I like the impact of you including them in the photo. Great composition!
